Product Description:

Copper-clad steel (CCS) is a composite material consisting of a steel core with a copper cladding on one or both sides. The copper cladding provides the electrical conductivity and corrosion resistance of copper, while the steel core provides the strength and durability of steel. Overall, the combination of high conductivity, corrosion resistance, strength and durability, cost-effectiveness, and versatility make CCS earthing wire a popular choice for many earthing applications.

 

Construction:

CCS wire is formed through electroplating method(taking steel wire as the core and depositing the copper layer evenly on the surface of the steel core) and cladding method (Cladding planished copper stripe concentrically on the outer surface of the steel core).
CCS wire can be divided into six types by conductivity, 15%CCS,18%CCS,21%CCS, 25%CCS, 30%CCS,40%CCS,and two mechanical status: Annealed (A) and Hard drawn(H).
