They are suitable for both direct burial and installation in air. The cables are manufactured in accordance with IEC 60502-2, but are referenced using Portuguese designations

Conductor: Plain annealed stranded circular compacted aluminum conductor (Class 2)

Conductor Screen: Extruded layer of cross-linkable semi-conducting compound

Insulation: Extruded layer of cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE)
