Zhenglan Cable Technology Co., Ltd. manufactures 6.35/11 kV medium-voltage (MV) power cables with cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) insulation and steel wire armour (SWA) for reliable energy transmission in utility, industrial and infrastructure networks.
The cable delivers stable performance in underground ducts, direct burial and cable tunnels where mechanical protection against external impact and rodent attack is required.
The XLPE insulation provides a higher permissible conductor temperature (90 °C continuous) and greater current-carrying capacity than PVC-insulated MV cables, while the SWA layer resists tensile and lateral loads during pulling and backfill. Each cable is high-voltage tested, screened for partial discharge and checked for dimensional accuracy before dispatch. We supply on wooden or steel drums with project-length cutting.
MV XLPE SWA cables are used for primary distribution from substations to secondary transformers, network feeders in urban and rural grids, and connections to industrial plants, mines, ports and renewable-energy collection points. In developing markets across Africa, South America and the Middle East, they are widely deployed for grid expansion, electrification of remote communities and infrastructure upgrades where long service life and low maintenance are priorities.
The armoured design suits direct burial without additional conduit, reducing civil-works cost. Its resistance to moisture, abrasion and soil chemicals makes it suitable for tropical, coastal and desert environments.
