Product Overview

1/0 AWG ACSR RAVEN is a standard steel-reinforced aluminum overhead conductor widely used in global power distribution systems. Manufactured in strict accordance with ASTM B232, ASTM B230 and ASTM B498 industrial standards, this conductor adopts a classic 6/1 stranding structure, consisting of six high-conductivity 1350-H19 aluminum strands concentrically stranded around one hot-dip galvanized steel core. It perfectly combines the excellent electrical conductivity of aluminum and the high tensile strength of steel, delivering stable electrical performance, low sag characteristics and superior mechanical durability. As a mainstream mid-size overhead conductor, ACSR RAVEN 1/0 AWG is suitable for various outdoor overhead power transmission and distribution projects, featuring high cost performance and reliable long-term operation performance.

Construction & Material Features

Stranding Structure: 6 aluminum strands + 1 steel core (6/1 standard configuration), compact concentric lay stranding, uniform outer roundness and stable structural balance.
Aluminum Material: High-purity 1350-H19 hard-drawn aluminum wire with 61% IACS conductivity, low resistivity and excellent power transmission efficiency.
Steel Core Material: Class A hot-dip galvanized steel wire, featuring high tensile strength, outstanding anti-corrosion and anti-rust performance, effectively improving the overall mechanical load capacity of the conductor.
Surface Treatment: Smooth bare conductor surface without insulation, ensuring stable electrical contact and strong atmospheric aging resistance for long-term outdoor exposure.
